A man injured following an altercation

    MONTREAL – An altercation at the exit of a bar, between the streets of Crescent and Sherbrooke was injured in the night from Friday to Saturday in downtown Montreal.

    According to witnesses interviewed by the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), an altercation between a dozen individuals would have erupted at about 3 a.m. at the exit of a bar.

    Upon their arrival on scene, officers found a 20 year old man injured by a knife. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of lacerations to the arm, it does not fear for his life.

    The suspect, a 21 year-old man, was arrested and transported to the operational centre of the SPVM, where he will be interviewed by investigators.
