A man was attacked with a machete Monday afternoon, in the district of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve in Montreal.
The assault occurred in the late afternoon, in a housing of the rue Adam, at the intersection of the street Of The Room.
The man would have suffered significant injuries, including an arm, and would have lost a large amount of blood.
He was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Known, of the policemen, the man was very uncooperative with the authorities.
According to police, the victim would have possibly been assaulted by two individuals, who fled after the crime.
The reason for the aggression remains unknown.
