SAINTE-JULIENNE | A man from Sainte-Julienne, in Lanaudière, having managed to detach himself visited the neighbors around 2: 15 in the night from Thursday to Friday to call the police claiming that he has been tied up before being robbed.

The individual would have received the visit of two suspects who allegedly assaulted before the tie and steal the residence, reported Claude Denis, spokesman for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ). The victim suffered minor injuries.

Upon their arrival on scene, the officers from the SQ to notice that several parts of the residence have already sheltered from the marijuana plantations.

“There is already a cannabis plants in the house, and the attack could be linked to the world of drugs”, said Mr. Denis.
