A man of 25 years stabbed in Côte Saint-Luc

    CÔTE-SAINT-LUC | A man, 25, suffered significant injuries when he was assaulted with a knife Tuesday evening, Côte-Saint-Luc, on the island of Montreal.

    According to the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), the assault occurred at 21 h on the way to Kildare, at the corner of avenue Eldridge. The victim was however in a home located on the avenue Light to the arrival of the police.

    The man has suffered significant injuries inflicted with a bladed weapon, which required his transportation to the hospital. His life would, however, not in danger.

    “The victim has mentioned that there are three suspects who have taken part in the assault,” said Benoit Boisselle, a spokesman for the SPVM. The suspects had however fled before the police arrived.

    Investigators have been dispatched to the scene at the end of the evening to collect the testimony of witnesses to the assault and to analyze the crime scene.
