A man will appear before justice of new zealand, after having poisoned ten of his colleagues by serving a cake in which he had taken amphetamines.
The man, 58-year-old is accused of poisoning, cultivation of cannabis and possession of illegal firearms.
The inspector of police, Waitemata, Richard Corbidge said it is the paramedics who were informed that ten people had consumed this substance in a cake served at a Christmas party.
“Around 11 a.m., about 10 people on their work place, Glenfield, would have eaten a cake which had been made from amphetamines,” explained the New Zealand Herald, Richard Corbidge police Waitemata.
“Eight patients have been transported to the hospital, but they have all recovered since the incident,” said the inspector at the New Zealand Herald.
The man was arrested after an investigation conducted by the police in Waitemata.
It must appear before the court of the district of North Shore on the 18th of January.
