A pedestrian dragged on three streets in Ottawa

A pedestrian 52-year-old was in a critical condition after having been dragged three blocks by a vehicle in Ottawa, Sunday evening, reported multiple local media outlets.
The collision occurred near roads Baseline and Merivale in the area of Nepean, a little before 18h. The victim was found by emergency services at three streets from where he was struck.
Badly wounded, the man was rushed to the hospital where he was battling for his life.
The police have opened an investigation to shed light on this accident.
