A person arrested after a bomb threat to Saint-Georges

    A 48-year old man has been arrested in the middle of the afternoon in Saint-Georges-de-Beauce after a building of the 10th avenue has been the subject of a bomb threat.

    At the time of writing these lines, the Sûreté du Québec was not able to say if the threat was rejected and indicated that checks were still being made to ensure that the premises are safe.

    The authorities have not disclosed the building that was the target.

    The worst seemed, however, to have been avoided so that an individual 48-year-old, possibly a resident of St. George, was arrested around 14: 30, less than an hour after the call the bomb was housed.

    The man was then met by the police.

    The event required the deployment of the squad, specialized SQ.
