A police chase leads to the arrest of a man in Longueuil

    Police in Longueuil have hunted down, a part of the night, a man, possibly disturbed, which was at the wheel of a white van. It was dark, deliberately, on a patrol car in Longueuil.

    LONGUEUIL | A man driving a white van held the police officers of the police Service of the urban agglomeration of Longueuil (SPAL) occupied during the night from Wednesday to Thursday during a police chase before being apprehended.

    The agents of the SPAL have requested the assistance of their colleague of the Sûreté du Québec and the Régie intermunicipale de police Richelieu-Saint-Laurent in order to locate a pickup truck travelling at a very high speed.

    For security reasons, the police chose to stop the police chase by the time, while trying to locate it.

    Is chasing chase, the suspect, a man about 30 years old, has dark on a patrol car of the SPAL at the corner of the boulevard Marie-Victorian, and of the rue de Varennes-North to Boucherville preventing the bloodhounds use their vehicle.

    The fugitive was eventually intercepted on route 132 at the height of Taschereau boulevard in Longueuil.
