    OTTAWA | A teacher of 55 years old was charged Friday in connection with sexual offences committed in an Ottawa high school, between 2014 and 2016.

    Robert Lavergne is facing charges of sexual assault and sexual exploitation of a teenage girl under the age of 18 years. It will be brought before the courts on April 25.

    His arrest followed an investigation conducted by the sexual assault Section and of the violence done to the children of the Ottawa police Service.
