An ex-lawyer accused of assault, is currently facing a second trial following an “arresting citizen” qualified “muscled” by the prosecution, all of it, for a chat history.
In April 2015, Bernard Corbeil has been found guilty by the judge John Asselin of assault against a woman who he “stole” the food at cat, which he put on her door to feed the cats stray.
After having developed a detailed plan to trap the guilty, Corbeil was literally thrown on the woman, on the morning of February 2, 2013, and he had wrapped the head in a towel, had been projected by the ground, had tied up hands and feet with nylon ties, before calling the police.
Everything was filmed by the surveillance cameras, and the tablet of the wife of the lawyer.
Following his verdict, the judge before given a discharge against the man who had carried his case on appeal and obtained a second trial.
This time, it is the judge Hubert Couture, who will be able to determine if the arrest was too muscular. The trial is scheduled for three days.
