The police of Quebec is looking for a sexagenarian been missing since December 3rd of last year in Quebec city. The man is a native of Ontario.
William Allen Kretzel, 61 years old, has stayed in a hotel in Old Quebec city for four days between 30 November and 3 December. It has not been seen after leaving the establishment, and the police say they have reason to fear for his safety.
“However, this is not linked to criminal offences. We were able to confirm with members of the staff of the hotel in question, it wasn’t unusual during his stay,” says Melissa Cliche, spokesman for the police Department of the City of Quebec.
Reporting to the family
It is the family of the one who calls himself “Bill” who asked the SPVQ ask the assistance of the public and the media to find the man. The latter moves to the foot according to the authorities, who have reason to believe that Mr. Kretzel would be still in the area of Old Quebec.
“It could more precisely be located in the low city, particularly in the area of Petit-Champlain,” says Ms. Cliche.
The male is 5pi9po, weighs 150 pounds, has brown hair shaved and brown eyes. He expresses himself in English. According to the information made available to the SPVQ, the man is unknown to the city of Quebec, but would not necessarily relatives or acquaintances.
