AMOS | A snowmobile driver was between life and death, Sunday morning, after a spinout occurred on a snowmobile path in Amos, in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
The man, discovered shortly before 10 pm, would have lost the mastery of his craft to go hit a tree. He was ejected from his snowmobile under the force of the impact, ” said sergeant Claude Denis, spokesman for the Sûreté du Québec.
The snowmobile driver was transported in a “critical state” at the hospital, said the spokesman.
The man was walking alone at the time of the accident, on a footpath located close to the path Lemerise.
