A man is trapped in an avalanche this week in Utah, in the United States.
Fortunately for him, he had the equipment necessary for survival, but also a brother, who saved her life.
“It looked like the thunder that rolled through the trees. We could hear branches breaking, it was scary,” recalls, Kaden Francis, the brother of the man rescued.
Then he heard the sound far away in the mountains, he quickly realized that his brother, 20-year-old would remain caught in this avalanche the size of a football field.
Not knowing exactly where his brother was, Kaden Francis began to seek it.
“When I saw her bag near a tree, the worst-case scenario came to me in mind,” says Kaden Francis.
His brother was buried under the heavy snow, his head barely above the surface.
“I immediately ran to him, he was only 50 feet away from me, but with all this snow, I had the impression that it took me an hour to reach it”, he remembers.
Fortunately, his brother was okay, but his foot was stuck between his snowmobile and a tree.
It took 45 minutes, the brother, the father and the uncle of Trace to dig it up.
The snowmobile was crushed, but miraculously Trace is left intact.
