    SHERBROOKE – A teenager has avoided the drowning of close to Sherbrooke on Sunday. Accompanied by his sister of 17 years, the 12-year olds went to the public swimming pool of the parc Dufresne, where he saw death up close.

    From the top of its head, the rescuer in charge of the monitoring of places saw the teenager curled up in the bottom of the pool, in the deep section.

    He ran into the water to raise the boy, unconscious at that time.

    “With the help of a user of the pool, we managed to get out,” said one who, at the age of 19, took part in his first intervention of its kind.
