A teenager of 13 years was hit by an SUV Thursday evening in the borough of Montréal-Nord.

According to initial information, he would not have looked at both sides of the boulevard Langelier before the cross. At the same time, a vehicle is steered in its direction and could not avoid the collision.

“He was conscious and was bleeding from the mouth during his transport to the hospital, but his life would not be threatened,” said agent Raphael Bergeron of the police Department of the City of Montreal.

The accident occurred at about 20: 15 to the north of the intersection of boulevard Maurice-Duplessis. Traffic was interrupted on the boulevard Langelier to allow investigators to reconstruct the course of events.
