    A crowd of curious was the queue on Saturday to visit the luxury yacht worth $ 1.5 million, which stood imposingly in the middle of the Place Bonaventure.

    “We could never afford something like that, but it’s good to dream from time to time !” noted Micheline Paré, a passionate fishing and boating.

    The Cruisers Cantius 45 boat the more costly and most imposing ever presented at the Salon of the boat and water sports, which is being held this weekend in Montreal.

    Measuring 45 feet long and 14 feet high, the yacht was even almost did not pass through the garage door leading to the exhibition room.

    “Like an apartment “

    With its two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, lounge and spacious cockpit, the Cruisers Cantius 45 has to excite lovers of water sports. The boat is even equipped with a washer, a dryer, a electric stove, an oven, a microwave and a flat-screen tv.

    “It is completely self sufficient in energy, it is the first time I see it, said Mr Roy. There’s a generator inside, so it can run on electricity, be it for sound, air-conditioning, etc “

    “It’s really like an apartment : you can live there, he continued. With a boat like that, you can go to Florida, to sail in the Great Lakes… there are no limits ! “

    Despite the hefty price tag of the yacht, several potential buyers serious would have already presented at the fair, according to Alain Roy.

    Overnight in the yacht

    A couple of Mercier, in Montérégie, has had the chance to sleep inside the Cruisers Cantius 45 last night, thanks to a competition organised by the boat Show. Jean Béchard and his wife were able, by the same occasion, visit the exhibition at their own pace, just the two of us.

    “I love boats since I was young, then it’s going to be special to spend the night in a boat as luxurious,” said Mr. Béchard Saturday.

    “At this point, I have a 32 feet, but I hope to be able to get me a yacht like this one day. But it won’t be tomorrow morning ! ” added the 53 year old man laughing.

    The first watercraft, marketed by Bombardier in 1968, is at a boat Show this weekend.
