Accused of left to die by his police dog in his car in the sun

    SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA|, A police officer was accused of cruelty to an animal after his police dog was found dead in his vehicle in the sun.

    The incident took place during a hot day in the month of April to Sebastian, Florida.

    A member of the canine unit of the police of the city, Eric Antosia had found the dead animal on his way home in the evening.

    “I’m calling to you of the case of an animal left in a vehicle. It is death,” one can hear in his 911 call.

    According to CNN, the outside temperature was 31 degrees that day and the temperature in the cabin had certainly to exceed 42 degrees quickly.

    The agent Antosia was suspended without pay on Thursday after the charges were laid.
