Lise Lebel, who created his foundation in honor of his daughter, who had died in an accident involving a woman driver in a state of intoxication, however, recognized that the imposition of a limit to 0.05 would not have had a deterrent effect.
Anyway, Ms. Lebel intends to continue its activities of awareness and education to prevent impaired driving.
She worries about the effects that the adoption of the law on the legalization of marijuana. Already, according to her, the young 21 years of age and under have the tendency to turn to drugs, because they are subject to a prohibition of consuming even a drop of alcohol before getting behind the wheel.
