    PYEONGCHANG – The Canadian Alex Harvey was ranked at the 7th rank to the test in the 15 km freestyle, Friday, at the olympic Games in Pyeongchang, which was won by Switzerland’s Dario Cologna.

    The founder of Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges was still positioned in fourth place after 7.5 km before losing several seconds and finally crossing the finish line seventh with a time of 34:19.4.

    His compatriots Graeme Killick, Knute Johnsgaard and Devon Kershaw have finished, respectively, 38th, 69th and 71st.

    On the podium, Switzerland’s Dario Cologna won the gold with a time of 33:43,9, followed by the Norwegian Simen Hegstad Krueger and Russian Denis Spitsov.

    Alex Harvey will participate in the relay 4 x 10 km, Sunday, and then the team sprint on the 21st of February. Finally, his last opportunity to win an olympic medal will be February 24th in the 50 km classical.
