An imam in jordan that would have invited the faithful to a mosque in montreal to kill jews is now the subject of an arrest warrant.

Sheikh Muhammad Bin Musa al-Nasr had been invited during the winter to the mosque Dar Al-Arkam, in the district of Saint-Michel.

It is on this occasion that he would have held hate in the place of the jews.

The speech of the imam of the 23 December had been filmed, then circulated on the internet.

“[Until] the end of time, when the muslims triumph over the worst of humanity, [and] the demons humans, the stone and the tree will say: ‘O muslim, O servant of Allah, ( … ), there is a jew behind me; come and kill him””, he said Muhammad Bin Musa al-Nasr during his speech.

Several complaints have been filed with the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM). The advisory Centre of the relations of jewish and israeli (CCRJI), as well as the organization B’nai Brith are part of the plaintiffs in this case.

“There are limits to what we can say,” said the vice-president for public affairs CCRJI, David Ouellette. As in the present case, it is happening in a global context of terrorist attack.”

“There is nothing to worry about when you realize that mosques are receiving imams who call for violence and hatred against jews, said Mr. Ouellette. This is very worrying and is a threat to the whole world.”

The CCRJI and the organization B’nai Brith have both stated that they were very satisfied with the seriousness with which their complaint has been received by the SPVM.

“This reflects a very diligent,” said David Ouellette.

The sheikh in jordan is now wanted by the authorities. If he is arrested, he will face justice for the hate speech he allegedly made.
