CHELSEA | man in his eighties did not survive Sunday in a road accident during which his vehicle ended up submerged in a ditch along highway 5 in Chelsea, in the Outaouais region.

Upon their arrival on the scene of the accident, the first aid have released the woman from her vehicle and tried to resuscitated. At the time it was transported to the hospital, she was in a state considered to be critical. His death was pronounced shortly after.

The circumstances of the accident remained unknown in the early evening, Sunday, but the Sûreté du Québec only left the possibility that the woman may have suffered a malaise while she was driving.
