One of the cats has been violently struck in the head. “My other white cat was outside. We saw it jump. He came home with a head wound made by a lead “. she narrated.

The family denounces strongly these gestures free. “It saddens me a lot that in 2018, we can see the animal cruelty, still the same. It is alive. My mother loves her animals more than herself, ” pointed out the girl of Manon, Kassandra Godin-Lessard. “It made me enraged. I find that there is no valid reason, because I find that there is no reason to do that. It didn’t work. I can’t understand how a person can hurt an animal, ” remarked the woman of Saint-Pamphile.

    Severe punishment ?

The person who committed these acts could be accused of animal cruelty. It sets out, according to the criminal Code, to a maximum term of imprisonment of 5 years and a fine of up to $10,000.
