Gunshot wounds

Remember that on February 22, at 8:00 pm, the defendant appeared at the Soouund Club Lounge, adjacent to the Volluume restaurant-cafe, adjacent to the Chomedey Inn motel.

While there were several people inside the establishment, a verbal quarrel had degenerated and Faouzi Harmali would have fired on the victim, reaching him on the right shoulder, before fleeing.

It was 10 pm when several calls had been made to 911 to testify of shots. Upon the arrival of police officers and emergency medical paramedics, they had taken charge of the victim, a 32-year-old man. One had never feared for his life.

At the same time, the patrol officers had met several witnesses who had given a physical and clothing description of the suspect. An individual was quickly intercepted a street away, spending the night in a cell before meeting police investigators from Laval and being released.

Other aggression

On the night of June 3, 2016, the same bar had already been the scene of an armed attack. A bar employee had probably avoided the worst when he had only been lacerated in the arm by trying to keep a trio of youngsters armed with a baseball bat, a knife and a gun away shortly after midnight.

Elderly in their twenties, each young man wore a scarf partially covering his face. When the employee had gone out to summon them to leave the premises, the trio had pursued him inside the bar, where a scuffle had broken out. A shot was fired and the victim sustained an injury before the attackers fled. We had never feared for the life of the victim.
