MONTREAL – police arrested two suspects allegedly involved in three arson fires have occurred in recent weeks in a restaurant in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Montreal.

The first fire to have been lit in the restaurant EZO, specializing in lebanese cuisine, took place on 11 January.

On 21 January, another attempt to fire took place at a restaurant, and a suspect has been pinned on the spot.

The most recent arson at this location occurred in the night from Thursday to Friday.

Each time, the suspects smashed the window of the trade before pouring gasoline inside and set it on fire.

On Friday, investigators from the Montreal police have made a second arrest in this case.

The two suspects are minor. They are expected to appear soon.

More arrests are planned, authorities have indicated.
