The UK astronaut Helen Sharman said that the colonization of Mars should make the people of the same sex, reports Rus.Media.

According to the scientist, at some point, heterosexual mission will inevitably begin to have sex, it has a negative impact on the outcome of the mission, reports The Sun.

The publication reports that Sharman researched data about human behavior that have long been in isolation. The aim of this work was the final development of recommendations on the composition of the crew.

The result was that between astronauts of different sexes were more frequent hazing.

Sharman also stressed that this, in turn, can lead to unintended consequences like pregnancy. Therefore, personal relations will significantly complicate the work of the crew.

At the same time, summing up their arguments, Sharman, said about the superiority of the team consists solely of women. In a team, in her opinion, conflicts will occur less frequently.
