Belgian court banned Facebook spying on users : In the World : Vladim

According to the decree approved by the Court in Belgium, now the company Facebook has no right to conduct surveillance of the users of a very popular social network without their prior consent.

 

The court decided that the territory of Belgium Facebook now has the right to gather private information of the users of the network until the process is resolved in accordance with the official Belgian legislation. In the case if Facebook will ignore this ban and will continue to monitor the users of the social network located on the territory of Belgium, an American company can get a fine of about a hundred million euros.

The court noted that the official representatives of the company did not provide enough data about the types of information that Facebook collected about users, and which actions are performed with the obtained material. Note that this prohibition also falls and storing private information about users of the social network company Facebook.
