    The little Audrey, who has been attacked by a dog Monday evening in Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac, is expected to get discharged from the hospital Sainte-Justine Saturday.

    Fortunately, the doctors managed to save his arm, which had been severely bitten by the animal.

    The little girl of 7 years has kept the sensitivity at the tips of his fingers, according to what his father has entrusted to TVA Nouvelles.

    The dog, a cross between a pitbull and a boxer, remains in quarantine, while the ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) decides his fate.

    The animal belonged to a neighbour of the family. According to the Sûreté du Québec, the friend of the girl would be input to the inside of their residence. It is at this moment that the dog would have taken the opportunity to sneak outside and attacking the child at this place.

    A veterinarian has examined the animal. According to the evaluation of the SPCA, the dog should not be in contact with children under the age of 8 years.
