Chester, Pennsylvania — The canons of the Impact have delivered the goods and the club signed an important 3-0 victory over the Union in Philadelphia on Saturday.
The Impact (8-8-6) has kept up the pace in the eastern conference, staying five points of the sixth and last place giving access to the series. It has also doubled the Union (8-11-5) and Orlando City SC (8-10-6) to climb to seventh rank.
Blerim Dzemaili put an end to a brief famine of three matches without scoring in MLS, his longest since his arrival in may. He moved the ropes in the 69th minute and with a few seconds left in the match. The midfielder, switzerland now totals six goals and five aids in 12 outings with the Impact in the circuit Garber.
Ignacio Piatti has delivered the coup de grace on a penalty kick at the beginning of the game stops.

There are still almost three months to the season, but both teams began the match by displaying an energy worthy of the series.
