Blue salmon presented as the main lot at the fish auction held in the framework of the trading day on the seafood market in the province of Tsukiji in Tokyo. The fish managed to catch in the depths of the Pacific ocean in the vicinity of the port of OMA.

Despite the rarity of the bluefin tuna, its value at the auction held is not considered to be a record, as previously, in 2013, a 222-kilogram bluefin tuna was purchased for the equivalent of 155,4 million yen.
