GANGNEUNG, South Korea – The Canadian Brady Leman won the gold medal in the ski race, cross, Wednesday, the olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
By winning the grand final, Brady Leman harvest the ninth gold medal for Canada since the beginning of these Games.
The olympic champion is followed by Switzerland’s Marc Bischofberger, who won the silver, and Russian Sergey Ridzik who gets the bronze.
The other representative of the maple leaf, Kevin Drury has taken the fourth place in the final after a fall.
The Ontario Dave Duncan, qualified for the petite final, finishing the race 8th.
Another Canadian, Christopher Del Bosco also took part in the competition, but suffered a violent fall during the knockout stages. Conscious following the accident, it was nevertheless transported to the hospital.
