In a long article, the british weekly The Spectator returns to the policy of the president of the Republic and on its communication. Speaking of cult of youth, and the resignation of general Pierre de Villiers, the journal allows a grin : Brigitte Macron would be the only senior that the president would need.

Since the nomination of Emmanuel Macron to the presidential election, the age of his wife, has been widely reviewed : the attacks sexist to the articles of defence, the support of the stars to that of the feminists. It is a fact : Emmanuel Macron is 39 years old and Brigitte Macron, 64. And they met when Emmanuel Macron was 15 years old. Only the president of the “start-up nation” looks back instead of the side of the youth, and this fact opens the way to the irony of the international press.

In England, the weekly newspaper The Spectator made the connection between Emmanuel Macron and the policy pursued by Tony Blair in the early 2000s.
