Cadillac unveils a CT6 550-horsepower

A few days of the opening of the exhibition of the New York auto, Cadillac started the ball rolling on the disclosures in advance with a version completely insane to the luxury sedan CT6.
The CT6-V-Sport 2019 will be hosted by a new twin-turbo V8 4.2-litre, 550-horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. An automatic transmission 10 reports will be put to work to manage all that power.

In addition to this new mechanics, the CT6 V-Sport will be equipped with a truck full of 20-inch wheels and Brembo brakes specially designed for this model.

On the design side, the CT6 V-Sport is very much inspired by the concept’escala, as Cadillac had introduced in the summer of 2016. The front grille instead of the classic CT6 “ordinary” is replaced by a storefront more aggressive, where the logo of Cadillac’s throne at the top.
The addition of a V8 engine under the hood is a first for the CT6. Launched in 2016, the sedan american luxury was until now available with a four-cylinder engine as well as with two blocks of six cylinders.
The new V8 twin turbo engine of the Cadillac will equip also the next versions V-Sport the CTS and the XTS, two other sedans, the luxury brand of the manufacturer General Motors.

An SUV, with it?
If the new CT6 on steroids risk of drooling visitors to the auto Show in New York, it will not have the monopoly of the attention at the booth of Cadillac.
It is that the manufacturer is also counting on its presence in the Big Apple to unveil an all-new SUV, the XT4. We know still little about this newcomer, if it is not that it will become the smallest SUV in Cadillac’s lineup, and probably the least expensive at the same time.
