Our photographer Ben Pelosse has spent a day at the point of crossing illegally the rank Roxham, Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle. On his photos, we see many children who accompany migrants in their escape to the United States. The federal government does not give any figure on the number of people intercepted at the border in recent weeks, but they are several hundred each day, and nearly half are children. Some of them are born in the United States and are therefore u.s. citizens. In Canada, they become asylum seekers as their parents.
