Before she was a candidate for the post of councillor for Coalition Montreal in the district of Notre-Dame-de-Grace, Caroline Orchard had not the language in its pocket when it came time to take feminism on the social networks.

She also mentioned that women today are “less happy, more depressed and absent most of the work” because of the feminism front to qualify the cause of “mental illness”.

The messages appear now to have been deleted from his account Facebook, which has changed name since his remarks have appeared in the media.

The leader of Coalition Montréal, Marvin Rotrand, told the Press that The style “non-conventional” and ” populist,” Ms. Orchard, please to several. “We have seen an evolution in his way of expressing himself and the support in spite of his rough side.”

Mr. Rotrand said in an interview with CTV News that his candidate is currently a “troller” by Project Montreal, and that several of her signs were torn down or vandalized in the past few weeks.

The candidate told CTV News that “all [his] past has nothing to do with [his] future”.
