Couillard is not satisfied with the contract awarded to Davie

WASHINGTON | the eyes of the prime minister Philippe Couillard, the “situation of injustice” with regard to the site Davie remains the same despite the contract of$ 4.4 Million awarded Thursday by the federal government.

Like the mayor of Lévis, Gilles Lehouillier, Mr. Couillard believes that the contract for the renovation of the icebreaker CCGS Des Groseillers is far from meeting expectations, while hundreds of workers waiting to return to the site.

“No, I am not satisfied,” said the prime minister of Quebec, on the sidelines of the meeting is the winter National Governor’s Association (NGA) in Washington, dc.

Though it is understood that the shipyard lévisien has been rejected by the federal government because of its precarious financial situation, in 2011, things have since changed a lot.
