GANGNEUNG, South Korea – Canadian women have suffered a defeat by 7-5 in the face of the chinese team of curling, on Tuesday, during a match of the preliminary round in the olympic Games in PyeongChang.

After the first two points scored by the Chinese, the canadian team scored three consecutive points in the 3rd and 4th bits, but this has not been enough to take the top face to the Chinese which marked their three decisive points in the 5th end.

In seven games played, the troupe’s skip Rachel Homan shows a record of three wins and four defeats, and ranks temporarily to the 7th rank.

To hope to be in the semi-finals, the canadians must win the last two games of the preliminary round.

They have an appointment on Wednesday against Great Britain, and then against the athletes representing Russia.
