MONTREAL | The discovery of a body by a passer-by in the heart of downtown Montreal has caused the Montreal police to open a criminal investigation on Monday.
According to the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), the body was discovered around 14: 15 on a wasteland of the rue Beaudry, between Ontario and Sherbrooke.
Apparently, the body was there for several days. The SPVM was not able to indicate whether it is a man or a woman, neither the age of the victim, due to the state of deterioration of the body.
The major crime section began an investigation after the discovery of the elements and suggesting that the cause of death would not be natural, said the spokesperson for the SPVM, Manual Sewing.
