Domestic Violence: it now needs to move scooter

    QUEBEC city | A woman victim of domestic violence has told, on Tuesday, being forced to move around in a scooter due to injuries that he had allegedly been subjected to her ex-boyfriend.

    Rosy Smith has made this comment at the palace of justice of Quebec in the context of the trial of Philippe Réhaume, a man of 40 years of age who is, among others, faces a charge of assault to severe.

    Ms. Smith is in particular returned about an event that would happen in may 2016. On this day, Phillippe Réhaume, who was with his girlfriend, would have hold of it in the bathroom for the project in the kitchen, where his back collided with the fridge. The injury would cause him even today back pain is persistent, which requires it to use a scooter to get around.

    The woman argues that Réhaume had a changing behavior, and that sometimes he asked his girlfriend to hit him, she didn’t want to do.

    The victim told that his life has been turned upside down by what she has suffered, she can no longer work as a truck driver, which she did for 15 years.

    The trial will continue Wednesday with testimony from a doctor who will comment on the wounds of Rosy Smith.
