After briefly wanted to withdraw his guilty plea for the murders of his mother and his grand-mother, a Montreal has finally announced that it was ready to scoop from prison to life as soon as this Monday.

“The only thing I want to do is read a letter of 20 pages on my childhood, after this is finished, launched Christian Pepin to the court, this Monday. I did [the murders] for a reason, I know it’s not good, but I have not done this just for fun.”

Pepin, 35, had pleaded guilty to two murders in the first degree last week, which is extremely rare in Quebec. He is said to have acted with vengeance, he who claims to have been abused by his mother as a child.

“I have done justice to myself, I decided that evening that these two people will do more psychological harm to others”, had exclaimed Pippin.

But this morning, it announced that it wanted to withdraw the plea, which is automatically accompanied by a sentence of life in prison.

“I should have listened to my lawyer,” he said.

The folder failed to be moved, but Pepin has already done an about-face a few minutes later.

Thus, it should be swept of his sentence by the end of the day.

Relatives of the deceased should be read out a letter that explains the consequences that the murders have had on them.
