Drug trafficking: ten arrests in the northern suburbs of Montreal

Police in Laval have conducted very early Tuesday morning an operation to pin a dozen of suspected narcotics traffickers who did business on the north crown of Montreal.

The police officers were hit in seven residences on the stroke of 4 h. In total, ten suspects have been arrested, of which three were already known to police.

The operation, called “Disintegrate”, was the culmination of an investigation that began last April.

According to a provisional report of the authorities, various quantities of drugs, money and firearms were seized during the searches.
