The leaders of the Expo agricultural held a meeting of emergency Wednesday morning to see if there is a possibility to evict the tenants of the kiosk Support 81.

They have ruled in favor of the expulsion.

As reported in the Journal de Montréal Wednesday, a trailer in the colours of “Support 81 Montreal” installed at the Expo de Saint-Hyacinthe, from July 27. The number 81 represents the initials of the criminal group the Hells Angels. The “8” is the eighth letter of the alphabet, “h”, and the digit “1” for the first, either the “a”.

The Hells Angels are well known in Quebec, in particular for their contribution to the war of the bikers who has made 165 people dead, including nine innocent victims, between 1994 and 2001. They also have the main placing on the market of the drug.

The presence of the kiosk has scandalized more than one.

In an interview with TVA News earlier in the day, the director general of the Expo agricole de Saint-Hyacinthe, François Fog, has stated that he would check into what can be done. “We will take measures. We will see if we can do that (evict) with the contract we have in hand. We are going to validate it”, he said.

It is important to adhere to the contract signed between the Expo agricole de Saint-Hyacinthe and Support 81, he noted.

The Expo must come to an end Saturday.
