Extended forecast: a cold and frosty is coming to Quebec

A bitter cold will keep its grip on Quebec for the Holiday season, according to the most recent long-term forecasts.

While it is normal for this time of the year in the south of the province vary between – 6 °C day and 16 °C at night, the mercury will maintain 10 degrees below these seasonal values for the next two weeks. The colder days are anticipated in the period from 26 to 29 December.

The beginning of December was very mild on most of the regions. The temperatures have even exceeded 10 °C in Montreal in the first week of the month. The trend of the time much colder than the seasonal values is subsequently reinforced and is likely to continue in the first days of 2018.
