SAINT-JEAN-SUR-RICHELIEU, A motorcyclist of 30 years lost his life Friday on the first day of the construction holiday, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Montérégie.
The accident took place at around 16: 45 p.m. near the route 133 and the street Guy, has informed the police of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. The motorcyclist was travelling south on the 133, and the collision occurred with a vehicle that was leaving the street Guy to take the 133.
The death of the victim was found at the hospital.
The driver of 77 years and his wife did not have significant injury.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the speed may be in question. Investigators at the scene of a collision of the Sûreté du Québec was dispatched to the scene to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
