Flights of fentanyl in Gatineau : a woman from Ottawa is stopped

    GATINEAU | woman Ottawa suspected of having committed two thefts of fentanyl in the space of nine days in a pharmacy in Gatineau, in the Outaouais region, has been arrested by the police.

    The two robberies were perpetrated on 11 and 20 January in the pharmacy located at 225 Saint-Joseph boulevard in the Hull sector.

    Each time, the suspect 31-year-old would have threatened the employees and demanded that be handed over to the fentanyl.

    It is finally an information of the public that has put the police on the track of the resident of Ottawa.

    The arrest took place Saturday morning, while the suspect was walking in the parking lot of a commercial centre in the Hull area.

    The accused was scheduled to appear Monday, at the courthouse in Gatineau, on two charges of robbery.
