Ford unveils finally the Ranger Raptor

It is in Bangkok in Thailand that Ford has put an end to our expectation, lifting the veil on the version Raptor the Ranger.

And as hoped, it is indeed a F-150 Raptor thumbnail.

At the motor Show in Detroit in January, Ford announced the return of the Ranger in North America. For the moment, it is not yet known if the Ranger Raptor will be marketed here. Gold with the Chevrolet Colorado zr2 tremolo that knows a certain success, Ford would have any interest in trying his luck in this market.

The changes to this edition of the Ranger are numerous : steel bumper, LED lighting, anchor points at the front and at the rear, flared fenders, shock absorbers, Fox Racing, brakes are larger, 17-inch wheels, tires are BF Goodrich 285/70 R17. Of course, the chassis has been completely according history to be ready to be manhandled off the beaten track.

We also note, in the grille, as the traditional logo Ford has left its place to a monumental inscription Ford.

Under the hood, we find a four-cylinder twin-turbo 2.0 L. The latter is paired to an automatic transmission 10 reports. This engine powered diesel engine develops 210 horsepower and 369 pounds-foot.

In the cabin, the changes jump least to my eyes. The seats are covered in suede and a decorative band was added on the steering wheel. Difficult to make more subtle.
