Gatineau: arrested for trying to do justice

    Two men who would have made life a real hell teenagers that they came to surprise to steal cars were arrested Wednesday morning in Gatineau, in the Outaouais region.

    To give a lesson to the young, the two suspects would have forced one of them to walk completely naked in a field of scrub plants and prickly, even in the middle of the city.

    The men of 37 and 39 years are now facing a host of criminal charges, including forcible confinement, sexual assault, bullying, assault, uttering threats and break and enter.

    The facts which are reproached to have occurred on the 2 July, a little after midnight.

    According to police, three teenagers in search of easy money were to commit a theft in a parked vehicle. But they have been caught in the act by a man who has launched their kits.

    One of the teens was caught by a second man came to lend a strong hand to his friend.

    Together, the two individuals have forced the teen to ride in a vehicle. “Sequestered, the teenager would then have responded to the requests of the two adults, indicating the address of one of his friends who was taking the leak”, explained the police of Gatineau, in a press release.

    At the destination, one of the two suspects allegedly forced entry into the residence, and as a teen, home alone, a refugee in his room.

    “The suspect would have then broken down the door and dragged the teenager by force to the outside of the residence,” said the police.

    The men in pursuit of justice, would have then required the young person to undress completely and to leave his clothes by the side of the road.

    He was forced to walk along the path, while the suspects would have followed in the car.

    It is finally making it to the address of the third teen involved in the robbery attempt as the calvary of the young men has come to an end.

    The parents of the third teen have been able to convince the suspects to leave without the young people.

    Advised of the situation, the police have opened an investigation, which resulted in the arrest of two suspects Wednesday morning.

    The police took the opportunity to remind the population that “in no case shall a person may not be justice, even if she is the victim of a crime, whatever it is”.

    As for the three teenagers, they have not suffered serious injuries.

    Gatineau police also indicated that they did not face criminal charges, since no complaint had been filed against them.
