Google Pixel: The smartphone will no longer be updated in 2018 and 2019!

Techno 1 May, 2017

Google has announced the upcoming updates for Pixel and Pixel XL. In 2018 and 2019, smartphones may be outdated.
While a Google Pixel 2 prototype is in circulation , the Mountain View firm has set up its upgrade program for the first generation of its eponymous smartphones. The Google Pixel released in October 2016 was well received by critics and many saw it as an interesting alternative to high-end devices. A few months after its launch, Google is already burying it … According to its official support page, there are only one and a half years of guaranteed updates for Android and two and a half years For mobile security updates. Quite surprising when we see the longevity durations of iOS devices through the patches brought by Apple.
As of October 2018, the Google Pixel will not benefit – except reversal of situation – from any additional Android update. A year later, it will be the turn of the security patch to no longer be assured. The smartphone will then become obsolete. Placed on a high-end ground, it would have been desirable that Google pushes a little further the improvement of Pixel and Pixel XL. However, one can imagine that the company wants to focus on its future projects including the next generation of Google Pixels estimated at three with Snapdragon 835 within them . Will Google ‘s strategy pay off?
