A bar of Griffin must cease its activities in its current local after an administrative error has meant that it receives a certificate of use sale of alcohol, then that the zoning of the area prohibits the flow of alcoholic beverages.

“The institution will have to relocate. The district will offer coaching to find solutions to a relocation of their activities elsewhere in the country”, one can read in a press release issued by the borough of South-West after a special meeting of the board.

Located on Notre-Dame street West, the bar, the Playground that opened in June was threatened with closure since October after the borough was realized that he would never have had to issue operation permit after complaints from the neighbours for the noise.

In the past few weeks, the revenue of the bar have fallen, many customers do not dare to make for fear of face of closed doors, said this week the “24 Hours”.
