    A man from Rosemère has earned its place in the finals of the most prestigious world competition of CrossFit, after being qualified in the top 20 in the world in its category on more than 13,000 competitors.

    For the past four years, Nikolaos Harbilas, 45 years old, dream to be on the podium of the CrossFit Games. To get there, it was sold in December, the company’s restoration that he owned with his brother. Since then, he dedicated his days to training.

    His determination has allowed him to rank in the top 20 in the 45-49 years of age and thus gain access to the grand finale of the CrossFit Games which takes place in Madison, Wisconsin, from Thursday until Sunday.

    According to Mr. Harbilas, this year, more than 355,000 followers of CrossFit who participated the first selections of the CrossFit Games in all categories.

    The father of three children feels so privileged to be qualified for the final. Regardless of the outcome of the competition, in September, he will also participate in the Granite Games in Minnesota, where he finished first in the qualifications.
