The first SUV in the history of Honda, the Passport could make a comeback in the alignment of the japanese manufacturer.
At least, this is reported by Automotive News, which provides a new model of SUV bigger than a CR-V and smaller than a Pilot could well revive this name abandoned by the manufacturer in 2002.

Even if nothing has yet been confirmed by Honda, Automotive News goes so far as to say that the Passport 2.0 would be unveiled at the auto Show of Los Angeles, towards the end of 2018, and that it might arrive in dealerships in the first months of 2019.
The Passport would be assembled in Alabama, in the factory of the Pilot. Precisely built from the same platform as the Pilot, the Passport would be shorter by about six inches and would come into direct competition with models like the Ford Edge or Nissan Murano.
The Passport would become the fourth SUV of the brand Honda marketed in North America alongside the HR-V, CR-V and Pilot.
An Isuzu in disguise
Even if it was a big “H” which has stood on its grille, the Passport had not much to do with the brand Honda. In fact, it was an Isuzu Rodeo, which we had affixed a logo, Honda.
Marketed from 1994 to 2002 in the United States, the vehicle was built in Indiana, in a plant Isuzu where was also built the Rodeo.
